Culture – The Prophetic Part 3

So we are going to continue today to look at the culture of the prophetic, a culture that is calling out the gold in another person’s life.

Col. 1:27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

• Glory— the unspoken manifestation of God, His splendor and divine quality.

Glory is the manifestation of His presence everywhere we go; it is people being healed because of the shadow of

Culture – The Prophetic Part 2

So we are continuing today to talk about the prophetic culture and last week we began by reminding ourselves what the prophetic is and so let me show you this verse one more time to kind of get us going down the right track;

1 Cor. 14:1-4 Let love be your highest goal! But you should also desire the special abilities the Spirit gives—especially the ability to prophesy. For if you have the ability to speak in tongues, you will be talking only to God, since people wo

Culture – The Prophetic

So this morning we are going to begin to talk about a new culture that we as a family want to foster and flourish; the culture of the prophetic.

As a short reminder as to why it is important to focus on cultures; a culture is a place where things grow and prosper, in culture transformation takes place and that is what we want to see happen. We live in a broken world, for all of us to go forward we have to admit that we are all broken and in need of healing that can only really come from Jesus

Culture – Risk & Faith Part 2

So welcome this morning as we continue looking at the culture of risk and faith; without some risk, which many of us don’t like, we will never need faith. And so in a culture of risk and faith we begin to realize that trying something for Jesus may not always go as we planned, there may be failures, setbacks, bumps, but that is a good thing.
This may be a shock to our systems; in this world there will be failures as we try new things, but Jesus is up to something, He has a plan and it is a g

Culture – Risk & Faith

So welcome this morning as we start a new culture in our continuing look at the cultures that we want to define who we are and what we value as a community. So far this year we have identified the culture of family, the goodness of God, hope and joy and the culture of honor; drawing out the glory that is another. And today we are going to start discussing the culture of “risk and faith” without risk there is no faith, in fact someone once said;

• Faith is spelled R I S K.

The life of

Culture – Honor Part 5

We have been taking the last few months and talking about the cultures that we want to encourage and propagate in our community that create a family that is safe and healthy; a culture that encourages growth and success in life…

We started last week to talk about how to honor (calling out the greatness in another) in confrontation, and boy if I do say so myself it was really good! Culture and especially a culture of honor is vital to the well being of our church and what Jesus is doing in o

Culture – Honor Part 4

Happy memorial day this morning, and how we all owe such a great debt to those that have served this nation to keep us as not a perfect nation but still the best; so I would encourage you to take the time and go tomorrow to the cemetery for the memorial service and see the flags that line the roads and dot the graves and thank God for a great nation…

So today we are continuing in our journey talking about cultures, and specifically the culture of honor; and today we want to talk about ho

Culture – Honor Part 3

So welcome this morning as we continue to look at the cultures that we believe will define us as a family; cultures such as family, and the goodness of God, joy and hope and the culture we are currently looking at, the culture of honor. Honor is defined as:

• Both the desire and the ability to recognize glory in another.

Honor does not just naturally come to each of us, but it something that we are getting pretty good at around here in fact this morning before we go any further we want t

Culture – Honor Part 2

So welcome this morning as we continue talking about culture and especially the culture of is honor.
Honor= recognizing the glory that is another person.

• Honor is both the desire and ability to recognize glory in another.

Matt. 10:1-4 And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. 2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon, who is called Pet
