Our Mission & Vision

Our strategy is simple;
LOVE—We can love others because Jesus loved us first.
MEND—We understand that we are all broken and need the healing only Jesus can bring.
TRAIN— The live the abundant life Jesus has for us involves the renewing of our mind through the power of God’s word
SEND— Christ encourages us to reach our friends, family and neighbors with the powerful story of what He has done for us.

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

We believe giving is at the heart of the message of the Gospel. John 3:16 says, “God loved the world so much that He gave…” Money can be a sensitive issue in the context of church, but it is also one of the best determining factors on the disposition of our hearts, according to Jesus (Matthew 6:19).

We use “GIVEPLUS+” for quick, easy and safe online giving.

Here is how we see it:

As a church, people are the focus of everything we do, not their money. We don’t view things through the lens of a donor base, giving units or pet projects for those with money. We want everyone who comes to feel welcome, whether or not you give financially toward our cause.

Some people give out of duty, others give as an investment to get something back, but neither is the biblical mandate for giving. Giving is an act of worship between you and God and therefore should not be done out of compulsion or guilt (Rom. 12:1; 1 Cor. 9:6-8).

Those who generously contribute to Lake City know that it is to benefit the people who walk in the doors and the community where we live.  Plus we believe in supporting church plants nationally and around the world.

We wish we lived in a utopian society where we could get free use of facilities and unlimited free data packages on cell phones. But the reality is that we have budgeted items that need to be funded to keep things moving along. We’re doing our best to work with a lean budget that reflects what we feel is important to God.

Things are pretty straightforward. Ask us. We’ll show you.

S for Scripture

Open your Bible to the reading found under today’s date of the reading plan. Take time reading and allow God to speak to you. When you are done, look for a verse that particularly spoke to you that day, write it in your journal.

O for Observation

What do you think God is saying to you in this scripture? Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and reveal Jesus to you. Paraphrase and write this scripture down in your on words, in your journal.

A for Application

Personalize what you have read, by asking yourself how it applies to your life right now. Perhaps it is instruction, encouragement, revelation of a new promise, or corrections for a particular area of your life. Write how this scripture can apply to you today.

P for Prayer

This can be as simple as asking God to help you use this scripture, or it may be a greater insight on what He may be revealing to you. Remember, prayer is a two way conversation, so be sure to listen to what God has to say. Now write it down.

Grace & Empowerment Part 3

So welcome back this morning as we continue in our study of the culture of “grace and empowerment” and boy have we got some conversation going on this one! Which by the way I love, the reason I am a pastor is because of people so never feel like I don’t have time to talk with you about anything; but I am discovering that the subject of grace is such a loaded subject for so many people.
That is the reason I title this grace AND empowerment, not just grace…

The subject of the grace of

Grace & Empowerment Part 2

So we are going to continue this morning where we left off a couple of weeks ago talking about the culture of “grace and empowerment”. I am hoping that as we talk about the cultures that make us who we are that you are beginning to understand and see how culture is so important to who we are and how we grow and prosper as a house. Programs may help you achieve a goal, but it is culture that defines how we live, what we believe, and how grow in life together.
So we began the look at the cul

Culture – The Prophetic Part 6

So welcome this morning as we wrap up our discussion on the culture of the prophetic; we could continue on this culture for weeks more, and in fact his culture is so important that we will continue to weave it into the conversation as we move along in the cultures that define who we are.
Of all the cultures that make up LCF, there is no culture that has the power to enrich lives or churches as quickly as the culture of the prophetic; I truly believe that as we grasp the power of speaking and li

“Life Expressed From Heavens Perspective”

So welcome this morning as we continue to look at the culture of the prophetic, and let me pause and welcome all of those that are joining us online today, we are so glad to have you join us and we believe that a Generous God is going to lead us today into a deeper understanding of what it means to live in a truly prophetic culture; so welcome all of you.

Every Tuesday a group of about 4 or 5 of us get together at Starbucks and we some time tal

Culture – The Prophetic Part 4

So we are going to continue to look at the culture of the prophetic, and how I wish I could just go back and repeat last week; I really believe that the prophetic culture is so important, this culture has the potential to change our church more than just about anything else we can think of.
So what is the “prophetic culture”?

To understand the prophetic in the setting of the local church you need to go to the book of 1Corinthians.

1 Cor. 14:1-5 Let love be your highest goal! But you

Culture – The Prophetic Part 3

So we are going to continue today to look at the culture of the prophetic, a culture that is calling out the gold in another person’s life.

Col. 1:27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

• Glory— the unspoken manifestation of God, His splendor and divine quality.

Glory is the manifestation of His presence everywhere we go; it is people being healed because of the shadow of

Culture – The Prophetic Part 2

So we are continuing today to talk about the prophetic culture and last week we began by reminding ourselves what the prophetic is and so let me show you this verse one more time to kind of get us going down the right track;

1 Cor. 14:1-4 Let love be your highest goal! But you should also desire the special abilities the Spirit gives—especially the ability to prophesy. For if you have the ability to speak in tongues, you will be talking only to God, since people wo

Culture – The Prophetic

So this morning we are going to begin to talk about a new culture that we as a family want to foster and flourish; the culture of the prophetic.

As a short reminder as to why it is important to focus on cultures; a culture is a place where things grow and prosper, in culture transformation takes place and that is what we want to see happen. We live in a broken world, for all of us to go forward we have to admit that we are all broken and in need of healing that can only really come from Jesus
