Our Mission & Vision

Our strategy is simple;
LOVE—We can love others because Jesus loved us first.
MEND—We understand that we are all broken and need the healing only Jesus can bring.
TRAIN— The live the abundant life Jesus has for us involves the renewing of our mind through the power of God’s word
SEND— Christ encourages us to reach our friends, family and neighbors with the powerful story of what He has done for us.

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

We believe giving is at the heart of the message of the Gospel. John 3:16 says, “God loved the world so much that He gave…” Money can be a sensitive issue in the context of church, but it is also one of the best determining factors on the disposition of our hearts, according to Jesus (Matthew 6:19).

We use “GIVEPLUS+” for quick, easy and safe online giving.

Here is how we see it:

As a church, people are the focus of everything we do, not their money. We don’t view things through the lens of a donor base, giving units or pet projects for those with money. We want everyone who comes to feel welcome, whether or not you give financially toward our cause.

Some people give out of duty, others give as an investment to get something back, but neither is the biblical mandate for giving. Giving is an act of worship between you and God and therefore should not be done out of compulsion or guilt (Rom. 12:1; 1 Cor. 9:6-8).

Those who generously contribute to Lake City know that it is to benefit the people who walk in the doors and the community where we live.  Plus we believe in supporting church plants nationally and around the world.

We wish we lived in a utopian society where we could get free use of facilities and unlimited free data packages on cell phones. But the reality is that we have budgeted items that need to be funded to keep things moving along. We’re doing our best to work with a lean budget that reflects what we feel is important to God.

Things are pretty straightforward. Ask us. We’ll show you.

S for Scripture

Open your Bible to the reading found under today’s date of the reading plan. Take time reading and allow God to speak to you. When you are done, look for a verse that particularly spoke to you that day, write it in your journal.

O for Observation

What do you think God is saying to you in this scripture? Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and reveal Jesus to you. Paraphrase and write this scripture down in your on words, in your journal.

A for Application

Personalize what you have read, by asking yourself how it applies to your life right now. Perhaps it is instruction, encouragement, revelation of a new promise, or corrections for a particular area of your life. Write how this scripture can apply to you today.

P for Prayer

This can be as simple as asking God to help you use this scripture, or it may be a greater insight on what He may be revealing to you. Remember, prayer is a two way conversation, so be sure to listen to what God has to say. Now write it down.

Fearless Living – Part 2

So a really big welcome this morning as we continue in this discussion on the subject of living fearless, I can think of nothing that destroys the believer’s victory over every obstacle the enemy puts in your way more than fear!
Just real briefly, last week we talked about fear perhaps being the foundation to all my sin, even though God himself told us there was nothing to fear… the key to overcoming fear is to understand that His mighty presence is with us at all times, but if we don’t d

Fearless Living

So welcome this morning as we continue to discuss what it really means to go from being captive to fear vs. living a fearless life.

I want to throw this into the mix; I can think of nothing that destroys the believer’s victory over every obstacle the enemy puts in your way more than fear!

Just real briefly, last week we talked about fear perhaps being the foundation to all my sin, even though God himself told us there was nothing to fear… the key to overcoming fear is to understand tha

Victorious Mindset – Part 11

Welcome this morning as we continue in our study of the power of Christ to bring us into a renewed mind that is able to comprehend all the power and success of life that Jesus paid for on the cross.

I love this time of year; the flowers are blooming, it is getting warm outside, all things are new and it is a great time to get out and experience the magnificent creation God has done for us; I simply love it!

So some time ago Laury and I were talking about what would be the root of most of o

Easter 2016

Victorious Mindset – Part 10

Well I want to say a good morning to all of you here on the campus and those joining us through our on-line church and just a reminder that it is going to be a really good day today!!

As we look forward to next week, I want to echo that it is one of the best days to invite your friends and family and let them get a sample of what a community of faith is all about. Statistically speaking your friends have no idea what a community of faith is all about and Easter is one of the best days to let

Victorious Mindset – Part 9

So welcome this morning as we continue to discover the power of the changed mind, we are a spirit, have a soul and live in a body and we understand that our born again spirit is perfect, no problem. The arena for the Christ follower is never the body, or the spirit, it is always in the mind; I have a mind that is not renewed, not changed, and so I still think like I did before I came to know Christ, and so I am forced to think like I always have, lie my life and make my choices based on my past

Victorious Mindset – Part 8

So welcome this morning as we get started talking about changing the way we think and view life; learning to think in the presence of the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, and just how by the changing of our thinking we can go from a poverty mindset, or a bankrupt mindset, to a wealth mindset becoming a truly victorious overcoming Christ follower.

Because we live in a very negative world, we have to make it a priority in our life to change the way we think going from a defeatist, victim, and powerle

Victorious Mindset – Part 7

Welcome this morning as we continue to look at the victorious mindset, and before I go on I want to take a moment and welcome all those that are joining us on the internet this morning; we love that you are a part of our community today and we pray that God just invades where you are at and really opens His word to you.
I also want to take the time to give you a couple of more exciting bits of information this morning; as you know; Laury and I are blessed with an awesome group of friends that s

Victorious Mindsets – Part 6

This morning I want to talk to you about an exciting opportunity to change your life in a powerful new way, proclaiming the truth and fasting on the negative. What would your life, our church, our community look like if we learned to speak the truth of the word vs. the negative that often comes out of our mouth?
We, as a community of faith, are going to take the next 40 days and fast out the negative form our conversations and thoughts. We have a book that is going to help us, called “igni

Victorious Mindset – Part 5

So welcome this morning as we dive into the word and what the bible has to say about my mind, my spirit and my flesh. But before we get going I want you to be reminded that today is going to be an awesome day; in fact tell someone around you that today is going to be a great day, not just good, but a great day.

The word says that we are to proclaim what we believe to be true, to get up each day and start the day off with a faith declaration that today is going to be a great day…
We live in
