The Servant’s Quarter

Each one of us is called by God to serve others! If you are an authentic Christian you are a servant! You are meant to serve God and serve others. To serve at its most basic element is to put others before ourselves, humbling ourselves. Everything we have, our talents our abilities, our minds…have been given to us by God himself! There are six things about a servant of the Lord:

1. WE ARE GOD’S SERVANTS!

God is the master, we are the servants and as such, we are called to use what He has given us to serve the people around us. We are not our own, we were bought with a price, His name is Jesus!

2. EACH OF US IS UNIQUE!

We are not only unique, but are called to serve. That’s the deal, we use our unique gifts given to us by God by serving.

3. WE ARE GREATLY GIFTED!

Not just gifted, but GREATLY gifted! But remember it’s not just the gift, but the obedience of the person with the gift. We have to get our eyes off of what we have been given and focus on what we are doing with what God has given us.

4. YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU TRY!

You may fall a couple of times in the process of trying, but you will succeed if you will just keep getting back up!

5. YOU WILL GIVE AN ACCOUNTING SOMEDAY!

Someday, each of us will stand before God and give an account of what we have done with the resources He has given us.

6. YOU ARE NEEDED!
